The Blue Wolf Foundation was born from a Vietnam veteran's heart and a simple Christmas tradition. What started as Gerald Wolf's personal mission—spending $6,000 of his own money each holiday season to help struggling families—grew into something much bigger when he realized the profound need among his fellow veterans. As a U.S. Air Force veteran who witnessed firsthand the gaps in veteran support, Gerald knew that sometimes the difference between stability and crisis is just one rent payment, one utility bill, or one tuition payment away.
Together with fellow veteran Arlene Edwards-Hammond and a dedicated board of military veterans and community advocates, we created the Blue Wolf Foundation with one clear purpose: to provide immediate, dignified financial assistance to veterans who need it most. We believe in "A Hand Up, Not A Hand Out"—direct cash support that empowers veterans to regain their independence without bureaucracy or delays.
Like a pack that never leaves anyone behind, we're veterans helping veterans, ensuring that those who served our country never face financial crisis alone. Every dollar donated goes directly to veterans in need, because we understand that sometimes the greatest act of service is simply being there when a fellow veteran needs help the most.
